I'm Stacey, aka Daisy, a specialist newborn photographer in Liverpool.
Of all the different genres of photography, there is nothing that compares to photographing a newborn.
Those baby rolls, perfect tiny fingernails and windy smiles are amazing and I love to capture them.

How it works
As a newborn photographer in Kirkby, Liverpool I am also close to St. Helens, Prescott, Rainford, Skelmersdale and Ormskirk.
You can get in touch to book your newborn photography session from your 20 week scan. This ensures your place while your baby is under 3 weeks old which is the ideal period for newborn photography.
All sessions take place at my studio in Knowlsey, Liverpool.
Before your newborn session I will send you a guide to help you prepare and ensure the session goes as smoothly as possible. I provide tea / coffee, water and biscuits for you to enjoy whilst I photograph your baby.
Newborn sessions can take anything from 2 to 4 hours, after which we will arrange a date for you to return for your viewing appointment.

Frequently asked questions
I have already had my baby - am I too late?
Not necessarily. Newborn sessions are ideally done between five days and four weeks, however it is still possible to pose babies slightly older than this. If they are much older, we are less likely to achieve the sleepy poses and it may be better to opt for an older baby session or even wait until your baby is sitting on their own (from five months) and book a sitter session.
Do you provide props and outfits?
Yes. All the props, outfits, hats and headbands are provided. If you have a special heirloom or outfit you wish to be included in your session please bring it and we will will endeavour to incorporate it into the session.
Why is the session so long?
Newborn sessions can take up to four hours. This is because babies need to be calm and settled in order to pose them safely and this can take time if they are hungry, need changing or just aren't sleepy and need mummy cuddles.
Can we / other children be included?
Yes. Parent and sibling images are taken at the beginning of the session and are included in all packages except wrapped minis.
What should we wear?
Parent images are usually taken on a neutral background of grey / cream. It's best to pick colours that either match or compliment each other, nothing too bright, with no logos or large patterns, this makes them more timeless and easier to display.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. You can split payments into three monthly payments or if you like you can pay the deposit as usual then pay the balance of the smallest package on the day and then upgrade to a larger package at your viewing session.
